Thane

As you have all noticed, there has been a disruption with the soul mate principle. I would like to assure you that everything is being done to try and resolve this mess to save future pairings, as well as saving the old ones. Keep in mind that they do know who you are and what you mean to them – they just cannot control their actions. They have become Night Council Puppets.

Do not give up on them.

Hopefully the bond between soul mates is strong enough to help break the hold.

Since the Night Council has apparently found a way to tap into the Old Powers for their own personal use; I suggest you all stay on your guard. There is a long battle ahead for all of you.

Thierry has managed to momentarily drop off the radar – my radar, at least. As usual, though, he will eventually resurface and this time we can have our little family reunion.

I still remember it like it only happened yesterday; how Maya died and who was responsible for her death. The beauty of it; no one knew I was there. I lurked, I watched, I waited… still waiting. If only I had arrived sooner, then Maya would still be alive but no – I had to punish her for what she did to me. Then again, the bitch did deserve to die. A parent’s life should never exceed their child’s life afterall.

Maya will be remembered. Honored. Revered. Something will continue on as long as she is not forgotten, which will never happened. She is the mother vampire after all. And in order to honor her memory, and restore Night World to the position we so rightfully belong in – I will personally hunt down the Wild Powers and kill Hannah Snow. A little fun would be had somewhere along those lines.

I wonder what that Sienna is up too...

Since NPCs are coming into play now, and I've been meaning to do this for awhile. Here is a list of people I created that work for Thane on some level with a brief summary of who/what they are. If you would like to fill that line, I gots no problem with it. Questions, comments, drop a comment.

JARED [ brandon fehr ; open ]:
Once a homeless druggy, this human becomes Night World's errand bitch.

TROY [ jason behr ; garoul ]:
A weak human child who managed to survive the bite of a werewolf, and when his existence was discovered a death warrant had been placed on his head. After surviving the warrant and killing off his attackers, Troy had been approached by the Night Council to serve alongside them. Even though Troy hated what he had become, he could not deny the fact that he loved the power that the curse brought him and saw the dark world that lay hidden beneath human eyes. He currently serves as Thane's right hand bodyguard.

TYLER [ thomas dekker ; open ]:
A shape-shifting werewolf who lost his parents to human hunters, Tyler really holds no loyalty to Thane specifically as he is a Night Council follower. Like most others, he prefers to keep to himself and is not trusting of others.

SANIYA, TANIS, VERA [ ashley greene, deanna russo, jessica stroup ; open ]:
A trio of sister witches belonging to Circle Midnight, they are the ones that the Night Council entrusts when a hex or a forbidden spell needs to be performed. More of a user, the sisters do whatever it takes to get the job done and has been known to work closely with Thane.

ZAYDEN [ kerr smith ; open ]:
A made vampire chosen by Red Fern himself with the same goals of the Night Council in wanting to rid the world of the Wild Powers and Daybreakers. Little does he know is that he has a soulmate out there waiting for him.
